1922-23 (c.), five address panels of so-called "Liebesgaben" parcels (which were sent after WW1 from US citizens to Germany) plus 9 covers from the same correspondence from JOLIET, Ill. to Berlin, Germany. The items show different frankings, to be mentioned 50c. violet (Sc. 517) on parcel address, another front with 20 examples of the 5c. "Pilgrim fathers", another one with a 2c. Schermack perforation as part of a mixed franking. Due to the usage on parcel fronts very mixed quality but valuable historical artefacts and quite attractive.
