Everything and everyone is ready for the forthcoming 15th auction, and already we´re busy working for the following one! Some substantial and exciting collections have found their way to Hamburg´s Kleine Reichenstraße 1.

It´s commonly known that Hamburg and the British Isles entertain a good relationship and have many things in common. No wonder that some very appealing collections of UK stamps found their home here. One of them, partly specialized and collected over many a year, was entrusted for us for the next auction in March, 2020. It contains many beautiful items and rare values such as the 5 Pounds orange or colour trials of the telegraph stamps, often provided with competent certificates. Apart from that lot, there are quite a few lots and collections with even more sought-after items, e.g. the One Pound UPU 192 in used condition as a vertical pair, each value cancelled with a full stamp! In our opinion, the starting prices are quite moderate, so there will be some bidding fights to come.

Another definitve highlight of this forthcoming auction will be the dissolution of a collection which focuses on consumption covers for the „Urdruck“ edition of Saar from 1947. The collector spent much time and quite a lot of means to build it – and the outcome certainly merits the effort! He placed the highest importance to exact postage, therefore this collection includes correct postage paid single- and multiple franking which in some cases are unique. Just the sheer number of letters bearing the Urdruck top rarities Mi.-Nr. 232 and 235 is stunning and impressive for specialists and connaisseurs alike.

Your treasures will also find an appropriate and worthy setting with us. Take advantage of this opportunity, we look forward to receiving your consignment, which you can send to our philatelic team until January 8th, 2020.
