All stamps cut into to good margins. Plus an 1861 cover to Quito, Ecuador bearing Napoléon 80c. horiz. strip of three (cut into at top and right o/w very fresh and fine). Also an 1854 unpaid letter frim Lima, Peru via CALLAO Brit.PO, PANAMA TRANSIT and London to Paris. An excellent ”trio”! (M)

1858, Napoleon III 20 Centimes, block of four on overseas cover from Bernay via England and Boston to Buffalo with French small single-circle OR and adjoining octagonal stamp ”Br. Service”, the stamps are glued over the cover and accordingly damaged, in addition an attactive letter from Boston via New York with transit mark AMERICA-LIVERPOOL via London to Horndean.
1858, Napoleon III 20 Centimes, Viererblock auf Übersee-Brief von Bernay über England und Boston nach Buffalo mit französischem kleinen Einkreiser OR und nebengesetztem Achteck-Stempel ”Br. Service”, die Marken sind über den Brief hinaus aufgeklebt und entsprechend lädiert, dazu ein attaktiver Brief aus Boston über New York mit Durchgangsstempels AMERICA-LIVERPOOL über London nach Horndean.

1865, letter from Trieste to Athens with additional franking 75 Lepta in a very attractive four-color franking. The letter has disinfection slits. The franking cancelled in Athens has some minor defects on two of the stamps, but is of very fresh colour and especially attractive and rare.
1865, Brief von Triest nach Athen mit Nachfrankatur 75 Lepta, dargestellt als sehr attraktive Vierfarbfrankatur. Der Brief weist Disinfektionsschlitze auf. Die in Athen entwertete Frankatur ist teilweise leicht mangelhaft, jedoch sehr farbrisch und besonders attraktiv und selten.

Fine London Bishopmark MR 26 on reverse. Very fine early Sussex postal history.
